good trimmer
trims nice. the best part is its precision trimmer, gives you a very close trim. worth it.

Not exactly as advertised, but good
The T980 is ok. It does trim your beard, although it does get all the hair, it does get some. It is easy to maintain because it does not require any lubrication and the blades are forever sharp. It is cumbersome to shave the hair right under your nose, I put on the attachment and trim the area manually.

Awesome Trimmer
I was a little concerned after reading a few of the negative reviews. Nonetheless, I decided to go with this trimmer, it had a lot more positive reviews than negative and it was the most expensive trimmer on amazon at the time and I was looking for a high quality trimmer.

After a few uses I quickly realized why some of the negative reviews said the trimmer didn't trim. I recall one guy saying he was pressing super hard but it didn't trim any hair. So here's the scoop, the plastic guard/head if improperly seated on the top of the trimmer stands 1/2 - 1 inch higher than it should. Thus on virtually any setting, the trimmer part isn't touching your face. This is not a big deal, properly seating the guard on the device is pretty simple.

For me the battery on the trimmer has lasted about 25-35 trims of the my full beard. I don't use the turbo vacuum feature as I heard that it runs the batteries out quicker and it doesn't seem like it's needed anyway. I keep my beard pretty short and the vacuum under normal power does the job.

The device has 10 length settings and an extra trimming pieces to do clean-up type work. It doesn't make that much noise (when the turbo button is not on) and it is a very light device. I think the overall size of the device is "just right". It's feels comfortable using it and it's not overly large which would make for awkward use.

The only suggestion I'd have for Norelco is to beef up the friction on the length adjuster. While using the device a few times the length setting moved to a lower setting unintentionally.

All in all I am extremely satisfied with this trimmer. For not a lot of $ I feel like I bought the best trimmer that was available on the market.

Bad...Very Bad!
I bought the Philips Norelco T908 Turbo based on other customer reviews. I wish I hadn't. The thing is a piece of junk. The swivel adjuster for setting beard length moved when I was using it and suddenly I was cutting off more than I wanted. Also, the plastic catcher broke after about a month. Avoid this like the plague!

Serves it's purpose
The only problem is the covering on the hair chamber is quite loose. It will come off and spill if I lay the thing down on the wrong side. All this means is I have to empty it every time before stowing it. A minor problem

Otherwise, it works perfectly.

Its ok.
These clippers feel like the higher end of the amateur sets. They are definitely the best I've ever bought, but not as good as the barbershop.

Oster Fast Feed Clipper -- Great
Easy to use -- my wife, who never used one before, has cut my hair twice already, without any need for "constructive" criticism from me. Does get a little warm after prolonged used, but don't they all?

IF you cut your hair at home these are the clippers you need. I couldnt find any store that carried Oster but I will buy no other brand. Oster has the best guards that you dont have to worry about falling off when cutting. Quality product!!

Excellent Clipper
This Oster is professional quality and does a great job on my buzz cut - even and clean, tons of power. Can't beat the value.

Used as a Dog hair Shaver
I had a large dog with very thick matted hair who needed to be shaved. The price was right, and it is a very hard working machine. Most people will use this for humans, but if anyone is looking for a good dog grooming clipper. This is great. Doesnt get too hot, and is quiet enough to shave around my dogs head without irritation. For thick hair like i had to go through, just take your time and work your way down. once you get past the matted part the clippers move through like butter.

Overall good product
I have no issues with this Haircut Kit. Cheap and reliable. The motor is not very loud and it cuts hair well on the first pass. Not the greatest cutter in the world but for the price its A+.

Heavy and vibrates a lot
It cuts hair just fine but this thing is heavy and vibrates quite a lot and as a result your arm will get tired after a couple of minutes of using it. The noise level is normal and not overly loud.

For someone like me who cuts hair once or twice a month this is acceptable but probably not for people who intend to use it often.

Great product, good buy, pays for itself in 2-3 cuts
I remember my father cutting my hair when I was young. I vaguely remember if he had a clipper. With an electric clipper like this, life is so much easier and it saves money too. I do know now, that it is great for fathers to cut the hairs of their sons. I now cut my two sons hair and my wife cuts mine. It takes awhile getting use to. Put it this way, "Every cut is an adventure!" More importantly, every cut is a well cherished bonding time with your family. Oh, buy a different comb. The ones that comes with the kit are ok but you'll need a wider one, preferably lighter color so you can tell which is hair vs comb bristle. Also, buy a better pair of hair shears. Expect to spend more for good quality scissors. Lastly, I recommend a better barber's cape, neck tissue, and horse tail brush to get the pesky hair off your child's face. The brush is a good tool to apply powder afterwards. I know my sons love the powder part of the haircut. I did too when I was their age.

Pretty good but not perfect
These clippers are great for actual cutting but in terms of edging up and lining up specific liines these are not the clippers you are looking for

But overall i would recommended them

Saving Time & Money!
My husband has so little hair left on top of his head, and not a great deal more on the sides, it just didn't seem fair to pay full price for a haircut. So we decided it was time for a new set of clippers, and we would cut his hair at home. We love this set. We are saving time, money, and gas, with no more trips to the barber shop several miles away. The set is easy to use, and I love the case for convenient storage.

Great Hair Cutting Kit
This hair cutting kit works very well and has everything needed to achieve a quality home hair cut. Works much better than my old clippers. I'm very satisified with the purchase.

Best home clipper set I've owned
I've used Oyster and Andy's brand clippers in the past and they held up for a couple years each, but it's usually the attachments that break that make me look for a new clipper.

This set of clippers feel much more powerful. It seems to go through hair much easier. I feel like I need fewer passes to get an even cut. A definite improvement over my prior clippers in quality.

a great clipper
Well, what can I say, except that this is a solid, professional-grade clipper, and although it's loud (which is why I gave it 4 stars), it's great for trimming head hair, facial hair or any other hair. I haven't tried the trimmer, but I'm guessing it's just as fantastic. I'd recommend this product since I know I'll be using it for years. Bottom line: great value, solid product.

Was very pleased with this purchase.
Been cutting hair for over a year now, and my last set of cheap Ebay clippers went out. After reading many reviews on this product I decided to take the plunge.
The clippers are nice and heavy, the cutter is aligned perfectly and very sharp. Cuts like a hot knife through butter. The many assorted attachment combs are great. I especially like the ones for trimming/tapering around the ears. This whole set made my haircut even easier and more blended.
The included trimmer is nice. It's small and quiet and uses one AA battery. I used a rechargeable Ni-MH battery to power it with. Glad I did for the little trimmer sucked the life out of that one battery.

Overall it is one of the best investments I have made to date. Well worth the price!

Great haircut & great savings
I received the hair trimmer and almost immediately did my first haircut with it. Because of the very useful attachments and ease of use, I was able to do most of it by myself. My second haircut a couple of weeks later almost paid for the product. It has performed up to my expectations and I will probably never have another + haircut. The Wahl Pro Kit will have saved its purchase price about halfway through my next cut.
